Adult Therapy

Working from a strengths-based perspective, Cristina guides her adult clients to establish achievable goals during the first few sessions. Through thoughtful, guided conversation, clients begin to untangle confused thinking patterns which may have led to clouded decision making in the past. Cristina helps clients “find a way” to:

  • slow down and reflect on exactly which choices help them and which hinder them
  • understand the origins of their anxiety so they can begin to manage it more successfully
  • stay true to their own voice so they can meet their own needs
  •  juggle the demands of parenting, work, and relationships
  • communicate their feelings clearly so others understand their boundaries and their needs
  • unravel their resentful feelings so they play a smaller role in their life
  • adhere to their own set of beliefs
